Throughout the last few years we have tried a lot of vegan products, some good and some....not so good. I thought I would give you all a list and link to some of my favourite products that I have found throughout the last year and continue to use to this day! None of this is sponsored whatsoever, so these are based on my honest opinions and continuous use of the products. The list consists of food, supplements, makeup, and many more! I thought this would help some of you that don't know where to start on your vegan journey or just need some insight into what products are good out there. There are so many options now so it can be difficult to find truly good products! The links are in the title of each item, so just click on the titles if you want more information!

I absolutely love this protein powder! I have tried both the chocolate and vanilla flavours and they are delicious. Once blended, they are not gritty or chalky like other vegan protein powders I have tried. They are creamy, subtle in flavour and sweetness, and perfect for your post-workout or filling breakfast smoothies. I have also tried adding them to cookies and pancakes and they combine very well. They are not only high in protein, but also high in fibre and low in sugar. I would highly recommend this to anyone, vegan or not!
Spirulina powder is definitely one of the most popular supplements at the moment. It is a green powder extracted from blue-green algae and is extremely high in vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients! It helps to boost immunity, cardiovascular health, cell growth and energy levels! I add it every morning to my protein smoothies and I cannot taste it at all, despite its strong taste on its own. Make sure you buy the Pure Hawaiian Spirulina though since other cheaper brands may not be as healthy or good-quality. I am so glad I invested in this product and will continue to use it for my lifelong health!
I have been searching for a smooth natural peanut butter for awhile now that doesn't harden when placed in the fridge. This peanut butter has been my GO-TO for the past 6-8 months! Although I don't usually purchase from generic brands like Kraft, this peanut butter only contains one ingredient...roasted peanuts. No salt, oils, or any other additives. When I open it, I always mix it around to combine the oil and peanut butter together to keep it smooth. I usually did this with all the peanut butters I've had in the past, and this one is the only one that stays creamy and doesn't harden. I use this in smoothies, baked goods, and many other recipes and it works great!
I absolutely LOVE these dairy-free chocolate chips! I use them in almost every recipe that calls for chocolate chips and they have never once disappointed. They use only three ingredients... cane sugar, unsweetened chocolate and cocoa butter. They are 100% certified NON-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free and vegan. These are a staple in my kitchen....especially when I'm in the baking mood.
Ice cream is my guilty pleasure...every time I pass it in the grocery store I always want to buy it! And trust me...I have definitely tried my fair share of vegan ice creams (way too many). This one though, has been my favourite recently! It is only available at Superstore locations, but it is such a good price for creamy, dreamy, vegan ice cream. Vegan ice creams can be expensive! This brand however, usually goes for about $3.00-4.00 each, which I think is pretty good when compared to most other brands around $7.00-9.00 each. It is very coconut-y in flavour, but it is so unbelievably creamy and delicious. They also have mango and chocolate flavoured which are also very good.
This product has done absolute wonders to my hair! It is a thick moisturizing cream that you apply small amounts to dry or damp hair. I always use it after I shower when my hair is still slightly damp and it makes it soft, knot-free, and less frizzy. It also smells absolutely AMAZING! One worry I had with this product was making my hair greasy since it is made with coconut oil, but surprisingly it prevents my hair from becoming greasy and oily for a few days! The Maui products are all natural, vegan, and free of any chemicals or parabens! I have struggled to find a product to style my thick and wavy hair with in the past, but this one works incredible!
I haven't been using this product for too long but I am IN LOVE with it so far! The Love Beauty and Planet brand is fairly new to supermarkets but I'd have to say it is some of the best hair products I've used that is available in stores like Walmart and Superstore. It is an ethically-sourced, vegan, organic brand of haircare with a variety of shampoo/conditioner sets to suite different hair needs. The shampoo and conditioner I have been using is the Shea and Sandwood scent and it keeps my thick, long hair smooth, tangle-free, and non-greasy for quite a few days! When its good for the environment, animals, and my hair, its a WIN WIN!
This face wash is so gentle on sensitive and acne-prone skin like mine! This is my GO-TO face cleanser at the moment. I have been using it for quite a few months now and it does not dry out or irritate my skin. The foam consistency is lightweight and soothing and I would recommend it for all skin-types. It is a very decent price for its quality and uses organic, natural ingredients that are vegan and cruelty-free. I have nothing but good things to say about this cleanser!
This is a pretty new product but I thought I would try it a few months ago. I LOVE it so far! The matte finish stays on my skin all day long and prevents it from appearing oily. It is medium coverage so it is not too cakey on the skin and still leaves a natural finish. The lightest shade, peruvian lily, matches my skin tone PERFECTLY and I am VERY fair-skinned. It is also a fair price, vegan, and cruelty free! LOVE LOVE this foundation, definitely one of my favourite products!
